I'm not sure why you would feel guilty unless someone could see it. And if they can see it then your should definitely feel guilty about not being at least somewhat modest. It does not matter what you wear to church because your wearing it for the people there not God. God loves you no matter what you wear or don't wear. He made us in our mother's womb he knows what we look like naked and he is always with us even when we are changing. God even loves it when we praise him buck naked in the shower.

I personally don't go to church often but I have seen people showing up in skin tight, short bodycon dresses sometimes and no one cares. I doubt people and God care about your underwear. Just show up.

Yeah but nobody there can see my lacey bra or thong. It is covered. That is modest. And our church has strict dress code: wear clothes. That's it. We have guys show up in chaos with wallet chains, guys in their vans shirt with a skateboard, ladies with nose rings, colored hair and boots, and your traditional Sunday best dressers. Part of the reason I love it so much there.
