  You're generalizing... he is very much happy and so am I. Besides, the walls in his apartment are very thin. People can pretty much hear just about anything, such as normal talking. I don't want to disturb the other neighbors by screaming, they might become worried and call the cops. I know I would, if I heard someone scream I would immediately assume that someone is getting hurt.
