The difference is usually where women are dancers, they don't get all cozy with the male clientele while they are performing. (That's if it's a dancing-only type of establishment. If there are private rooms, I can't tell you what goes on.) But with male dancers, some/many will get physical with the ladies. They'll wrap their arms around them, slide their bodies up/down a woman, maybe even kiss her cheek/forehead.

I also noticed that the male dancers who do this, focus on the women who are birthday girls or brides-to-be. Unfortunately, they also seem to pick out the woman in a group of friends who.. um.. doesn't appear to get attention as much as her friends. (Yeah, you figure it out.) From what I've seen, they make it very routine and mechanical. There's no love or eye-contact going on. They just do it to get a scream out of the other women. Nothing more, nothing less. I visited a gay male strip club, with a gay friend, I was one of maybe 4 or 5 girls in a placed packed with men. The dancers were fully naked by the end of their set.
