Your best bet is to just laugh about it... We've all been in embarrassing. Situations. If she acts weirdly about it just apologize and make a quick joke of it... I had my aunt and uncle come home early one time when I was house sitting... I was with my ex and we were fucking on there trampoline... We all just kinda laughed about it and let it go... Now its a running joke in my family that gets brought up from time to time at family gatherings. No biggie.
Socially this is a non-event. It's like farting or opening the door to a bathroom when it's occupied. Like pooping and peeing and farting, masturbating is something that (almost) everyone does. We try to do it in private but sometimes there is an intrusion. The intruder says "excuse me" and that's the end of it. It is never mentioned again.
Don't mention it again. Also, try to find a girlfriend and bring that girl to family functions so your cousin can feel like you aren't spending all your time with yourself.
On a side note- I once walked in on my DAD while he was in the darkened living room one night. That was pretty horrifying. Kind of scarring. But we never mentioned it and hopefully, it will never be brought up again.
Its always the same. Every single person on earth when caught masturbating by a family member would instantly cover up and not even give it a second thought.
