My boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke. We continued however took the morning after pill. Dont worry no cum came but of course there was precum. I took the morning after pill just few hours later juat to be safe. My period is now late by 1 day and I just start to panic a bit as I am only 21 year old and still studying. Anything to calm me down a bit? this happened to you before?

There are usually no sperms in precum, and if there are, not enough of them to pose a significant risk.

A friend of mine had this happen to him. Condom broke and his girlfriend took the morning after pill. No pregnancy, they were fine.

As another comment pointed out, menstrual cycles are not always 100% regular. My own partner has wildly irregular cycles and can either be days early or a week late. Stress, diet, hydration, genetics, all play a role.

Just get a couple pregnancy tests if that can reassure you, but I'm sure you will both be fine :)

Your period isn't always going to be perfectly consistent. Stress can delay it by a good bit, happens all the time. It's ok to worry after a week and a half, assuming you aren't obese or anorexic.

Another thing to bear in mind is that most pregnancies don't take. The zygote doesn't always form properly (making a unique being) so most of the time it just comes out with your next period.

Even if it does develop properly miscarriages at that early stage are common.

My sister and her husband are perfectly healthy and the doctors said there were no issues but they tried to conceive for over a year before they got it. But I have also met a girl who was on BC and got pregnant from a small amount of precum when a condom broke. So anything can happen.
