All of the above, plus:

--A room for his man cave, with big screen TV and a place for all his sports memorabilia.

--A groundskeeper so he doesn't have to do any lawn maintenance.

--His own garage for his car, with plenty of space for a workshop to do man things.

--Two loveable dogs that think he's the neatest thing since perforated toilet paper.

--Guns. Lots and lots of guns.

--Two South American shrunken heads named Fred and Barney (they've been authenticated)

--A Chinese beheading sword (unrelated to the aforementioned shrunken heads).

--A large gas grill he can use to grill to his heart's contents.

--Love and loyalty.

In my relationship (engaged and living together) I bring a lot of those things you list. I have a career, so I contribute financially. I certainly provide emotional support to my SO when he needs it.

He had a demanding job, so I’m there for him when he is overwhelmed. I’ll pick up the slack when he works in the evening by doing extra stuff around the house so he doesn’t have to.

He does the same for me. We pretty much have our weekly routine down as far as household things go. We play to our strengths. Some things we do together, like cook. He was rubbish with cooking when we met but now enjoys it.

He helps me in the kitchen, and we both arch up on our week and enjoy a glass of wine. So, chores and housework is a team effort with us.

Of course, we have an intimate life as well. We are both so busy, that is mainly reserved for weekends. It is something we do, but it does not rule our lives.

@SueShe I will send some over to you. I made some this week-end. I was busy in the kitchen and ambitious trying some new things. I can say mostly it was a success with some new dishes. A couple of things to tweak, but Mr B** enjoyed. 🙂 I hope you too have had an enjoyable week-end and were able to squeeze a bike ride in.

i work a good job, cook, clean, diy, cut lawn, have my own home, car, no kids and i do laundry and thats just part of what i bring to the table
