Got an erection talking to my friend on a nude beach?

Yesterday with some friends we went to a clothing optional beach, being self conscious about my body I was very reluctant to go all the way, but after some drinks I stopped caring. While I was scooting down to the beach two of my friends were talking, one male and one female, were joking about his bit of a boner. Then I popped one, they commented. We laughed, but then I got a full raging erection. Everyone went a little more quiet and we carried on. Later my friend brought it up when we were back on our towels sitting and said that she didn’t care. While she was saying this it happened again and we sat there talking while I went full mast again. Then I went to ask her to pass me my swim trunks and she says “won’t that be uncomfortable”. So I was like, I guess it doesn’t matter and just let myself go totally hard while we talked.

Talking about erections is a sure way to increase the chances of getting one. If there were others there you should have covered up, but if it was just your group that's fine. As you get more and more used to nudity you'll find it happens a lot less often. I've been to clothing optional resorts, beaches, hot springs, saunas and unofficial nude swimming holes way to many times to count, and I can only remember getting a few erections. I just roll over on my stomach and let my back get some sun or wade deeper into the water. Flaunting erections is what will get you in trouble on a beach. If you're actively trying to cover or hide one and someone still notices, they're likely not to give it a second thought.

The last time I went to a clothing optional event with my wife we brought another couple that had expressed interest in it. I was talking with one of them after getting a drink from the cooler, walked over to some chairs and set my towel down on the seat, but she put hers over the back of the chair... I had to politely correct her before she sat down. I think the use of towels in naturism/nudism is something that a lot of outsiders have never even thought of!

Same here. We've gone to my family's cabin on a lake, but otherwise haven't left our city. Still swam nude and laid out in the sun, but all socially isolated (just my wife, son, and I). It was nice to get out, but I miss the social aspects.
