Interestingly enough, I can relate to the conclusion in your post from the other end of the spectrum. I am a gay man who prefers being a bottom during sex with other men. Although part of the appeal in doing that is clearly the physical pleasure of getting penetrated, the negative social stigma of being the receiver during anal sex has always been an attractive idea/feeling to me. Really? It's usually the opposite. If a guy likes anal sex people think it's just the annoying, "animal" nature of men. But when women like it everybody's like, "She likes what she likes." I've even heard it said that it's understandable for a woman to like anal because it supposedly feels good to her G-spot from behind!
