I keep hearing about a lot of men losing interest after hooking up. What was the reason? Was the sex bad? Or was it the only thing you were after from that person?

I don't do hook ups because after a while they want more.
It happens bc we have an ideal female in mind at first. When you start dating, there are a lot of boxes that can be checked to meet the "ideal female" criteria... so it is easy to meet some of those criteria early on. As time goes on, less of those boxes start getting checked... which then makes us realize "she is not as ideal as I originally thought she was." So we move on hoping to find someone who checks more of the boxes, or HOPEFULLY all the boxes.

i personally don't do hookups. But my friends who do indulge in it, don't date those girls. because they don't trust them or like them like that. i wouldn't trust them either.

Seems like good reasons! Why didn't you see any future with them? What did they say that turned you off?
One of them was racist, no way I'll put up with that. Another kept talking about politics for hours from a country halfway round the world that I didn't give a fuck about and sometimes the conversation just falls silent and you have nothing in common.

I would think that if someone looses interest in someone after doing something, then it was the something that they were interested in only... In this case it was the sex... However had it been really good then they may have stuck around for seconds... ;)
