Guys, does having a boner while wearing pants hurt?

My guy is always hard when he comes over, he usually wears jeans, basketball shorts and boxer briefs at the same time. He always asks if it's okay to take his pants off (not the shorts just jeans). Is this because it hurts? (because even with boxer briefs I can see the buttons straining on his pants), and he also asks if he can take them off so they don't get wet. Is he referring to pre cum and if so do guys normally produce that much to be worried about your pants and shorts getting wet on top of your underwear?

  • It certainly doesn't hurt, no, but it can get somewhat uncomfortable, depending on how tight the jeans are. I wouldn't say that it's uncomfortable enough to warrant taking the jeans off.

    As for the "wet" part of your question, that can depend. The amount of pre-cum varies from guy to guy and from one situation to the next. There can be times when a guy is hard, but not necessarily sexually aroused. In that case, there will be a boner, but no pre-cum.

    In other circumstances, a guy can be hard and very sexually aroused, which will produce pre-cum. I can't speak for every guy, obviously, but when I'm sexually aroused, I can produce a ton of pre-cum, enough so that it can actually make my underwear pretty wet, even going so far as to eventually soak through my pants after an extended amount of time.

    I have very good self control, though, so unless a girl is actively trying to make me as horny as possible while still clothed, that is a non-issue. If your friend is getting THAT aroused just being in your presence, without any effort on your part, then he might want to work on that, because I wouldn't say that would be considered normal.

He doesn't do that anymore, does it mean he's not as attracted to me as he once was if he's not getting that sexually aroused?

    • Oh no, that's not what it means at all. I'm sure that he's just as attracted to you as he's always been. Based on your age bracket, I'm assuming that he is roughly the same age? If so, then when he used to just drop and drop like that, it was probably due the excessive hormones on the tail end of puberty. All that's likely happened is that his hormone levels have stabilized, so his body just doesn't go into "impregnate at all costs" mode anymore. That wouldn't change his level of attraction towards you in the slightest. Please don't worry about that.

  • Not really, I mean for some guys it does happen but. We don't all have pre cum coming out of us all the time we get a boner. As for if it hurts well that varies depending how big it is, I can tell you this though any guy who gets a boner while his jeans or pants or shorts or boxer briefs on. It will feel very uncomfortable so we try to readjust it.

I can see why he is more comfortable in the basketball shorts bc if you are hanging out together and he gets an erection there's much more room for him to get bigger without being restrained, especially if he's already big down there to begin with, which it sounds like he is given that he's going through the trouble of taking his pants off.

    • It would but not as much as jeans do. Boxer briefs are soft cotton. Boxers would be the most comfortable though and mist room for an erection. Its not really good at all to restrain an erection bc its a natural thing and too much restraint causes pain which could damage it.
