I have had my gf queef. She was embarrassed, I thought it was funny. After all, the reason she did queef was because I had pushed air into her vagina, so it was nothing to worry about. Normal body functions should not be classed as gross, it just makes the girl embarrassed.
In my 46 years, I have heard many many queefs. All it is, is air pump up into the vagina and its being expelled. There is nothing to be embarassed about, it sounds like a butt fart, but its not a fart and should be ignored and continue on with your fun! Good Luck!

sorry it's just I've never heard of it before, after reading the comments below I understand it's not an actual fart but air being pushed out due to sex which is about the same as making farting noises with your armpit which isn't gross nore is queefing.
