In order of preference: boxer briefs, trunks and midway briefs. I wore bikinis for a bit but my butt is 20% bigger than they hold comfortably. Boxers are comfortable, but lack the containment/support necessary when wearing jeans. My junk shows more than I'd like.

Briefs remind me of little boys. I couldn't do that.

Thong, jock strap and strings make me think of my mom. She used to say "Always wear clean underwear. You never know if you'll end up in the hospital." They fit into that category. I wouldn't want another guy to see me wearing them.

I wear briefs or bikini style briefs everyday. Most with a tailored pouch. They provide good support while still giving everything enough room, and there's no extra fabric to ride up like with boxer briefs or boxers.
