I've turned down a few. Mostly cos they were drunk.

It happened once, and I'm glad he turned me down.

I'm not the type to approach someone I'm not dating for sex, just not my preference, but this guy and I had gotten super close in the last week through various events.

But I'm honestly glad he refused me. Looking back, I wasn't really myself. It had been such a stressful and overwhelming week - I wasn't thinking about any long term consequences or emotional impacts what I was asking for would have.

Fortunately he was. I've been in a situation where a guy has also been in that same position I was and I gently refused his advances then, later he thanked me for it as well.

It honestly makes me feel safe knowing there's guys out there who'll know when they're in a position of power and know that restraint and foresight are necessary.

I am not the type of a girl who leads, I prefer guys being first so this never happened but I did turn down various guys. There wasn’t one guy who didn’t try, except maybe 1-2 but they were really weird.

I turned down and separated myself from a long distance friends with benefits situation because I learned that the woman in question had started drama with a good friend a few years prior. She also, as I learned after hooking up with her out of state, took pictures of me in my sleep and posted a picture from our dinner together on Instagram without saying or asking for permission on either. She wanted me... but i was spooked.

Not counting the women I'm in a relationship with, yes, twice. I was with other women at the time, so a simple "I'm flattered, but spoken for" did the trick. One was fine with it, one... was not. I got out of there before the situation got ugly.
