Guys, how much pleasure does condom really take away?

If having to use condom is really that off putting for you, how likely are you to agree to a middle ground that the girl agrees to give a head but you are never to enter her nethers without condoms (avoiding pregnancy being the main issue not STIs, suppose for health reasons she couldn’t be on hormonal BC and other BC methods are too invasive/costly for her)

there are many opinions that deserved to be most helpful but alas i can select only two. so... honest long story short 1. nothing really beats the skin-on-skin feeling 2. thin rubbers tend to be more tolerable, right fits won't make the experience too different than going raw

  • I found it to be mainly psychological and childish attitude. Yes, you can feel the condom but it’s not the end of the world. A good fitting thin good quality condom with good lube makes the difference extremely small.

    I like the fact that I have control myself over my reproductive capacities and will know for sure that I have little risk to catch or pass on an STD.

  • I’m not a fan of condoms but since I’d rather have actual sex versus oral, I’d wear it. I know what types of condoms work good enough for me so it’s not too bad but I do prefer the skin on skin touch so much better.

  • Depending on brand and fit, I'd say between a 25-40% decrease in pleasure.

  • Oral should already be part of what we're doing, so it's not really a compromise lol.

    I used to hate condoms until I found the right size for me, then it made the experience much more tolerable. You can't beat the feeling of skin on skin, but if it was the only option then I'd use them.

    • getting oral is more pleasurable than giving oral, it's one of the two getting the most out of. even if it's not a compromise for her (may be the man agrees to give oral too so she is winning), the man giving up skin-on-skin sex feeling is the only party compromising/sacrificing/whatever appropriate verbiage. taking away some of the tactile sensation is worth it for the girl in my opinion because the stress of getting pregnant is lifted also no side effects of bc that would make the act more pleasurable for the girl in the end. can't say men feel the same, saw in some other threads that they would rather be with girls on bc. trying to see a ratio of men who would adopt condom and men who would rather dump the girl. thanks for your response

  • The first time I had sex it was with a condom on and I couldn't get off. I've never been able to get off with a condom on. Being the issue is avoiding pregnancy and not wanting or being able to use birth control, I really think it might be a good idea to consider anal. Oral is good sometimes, but there's a kind of intimacy and excitement that comes from ejaculating inside a woman's body that I feel isn't there from ejaculating in her mouth.

My only other options are to pull the hairs out WITH the roll or try to cut them off while trying to keep others from getting caught in it! None of this is easy to do with only two hands!! Especially if lube is involved! I'd even be afraid to use one while fucking her for the same reason!     • can't tell, my only source is some internet articles that seemed to say "men reported decreased sensation with female condoms too" so if you've been with females using female condoms how was your experience? female diaphragms has to be used with spermicide that also could trigger allergic reaction, also need fittings with doctor visit, in general costlier than male condoms. i take you would rather not tolerate the hassle and be with women already on bc fine that do not come with these stipulations, thank you.

  • Stick your finger in your mouth and suck on it. You feel with your finger your the saliva, your tongue and palette and warmth and pressure. Now wrap your finger in plastic wrap and try it again. You will feel pressure and some warmth. That's the difference. Thin condoms help, but it still changes things. It's still much more exciting than masturbating, that's for sure, but it's different.
