I wouldn't for a second question their sexuality. Some friends are like that. Lots of hugging. That's just how the are. I've had my straight friends do this with me. Nothing beyond being close friends.

This doesn't get me thinking "hey, she's hugging her friend. Maybe I should hit on her".

So no, this shouldn't make anyone question either of their sexualities.
