Guys, is there a difference between "cute" and 'hot"?

@Katy16 depends on the person, makeup for me is my archnemesis :p (especially mascara, I don't like mascara at all) When someone wears makeup, I try to imagine them without it to see what they're really like. And then I feel disappointed by how they don't seem to realize how much better they look without it, But that might be just me.. some people see makeup as a "proof of effort", kinda like washing your hair or shaving your face as a guy, but I think that's just crazy. No one needs paint to look good.

it really depends cute can also mean good looking and sexy. i haven't heard anyone using the word "HOT" but i know the word cute can be used.

I think both can be attractive. Cute is often in love so a mix of 'i really like you' and you're adorable.

Hot is often physical, i'm not sure it mean personal attraction, but I guess you would think your girlfriend hot too when you first see her.
