Yes, screwing them by putting them in the wrong sizes. They gain from it because squeezing people into as narrow a size range as possible makes them more money.

Think about it. Most stores sell 32-38 bands and A-DD/DDD cups. That's 4 band sizes and 5/6 cup sizes. They've been getting away with convincing all women that they fall somewhere within this range for decades. If they were to size people properly, they would need to sell a LOT more band sizes (24-44 bands) and a LOT more cup sizes (A-KK cups at least) - which would cost more money.
@softlyautumnal If stores needed to stock more sizes, that would be to the manufacturers benefit, directly contradicting your theory.

It’s about proportions. Depends if they are thin or not. I’m general bigger is better but plenty of guys don’t really care. Personally I don’t care very much about breast size.
