Guys when you ask a girl her age, does that indicate some level of sexual interest?

It depends on context. I usually don't ask a girl her age as my mother told me that's impolite. If there is a non romantic reason for asking then I might ask. Examples: "I need to see your I. D. before I can sell you that bottle of wine." "It's your birthday? Well then HAPPY BIRTHDAY! How old are you?" (only if they are really young because younger people often like to be asked) there are probably other occasions but I can't think of any. Romantically I would only ask if she looked like she might be young enough to be called jail bait. But then it's been a few decades since a girl in that category has shown an interest in me romantically. If you look old enough to date me and you show an interest in dating me I don't need to know your age so if you want me to know you'll have to tell me.

It used to, yeah, back when I was young enough that sex with a girl a mere ~3 years younger than me would have been illegal. But at my age if I have to ask a girl her age, then I'm definitely too old for her.

Not that I'm not physically attracted to 18-25 year old girls, but I've become a fan of mutual pleasure and it's too hard to not imagine how girls at that age have life ambitions that I can only function as a distraction from - unless the ambition is just lots of dirty sex, but such girls are pretty much unicorns.

No, sometimes I just prefer hanging around with people who are not younger than 17, because we're usually on the same page then. With older people I might not me on the same page with them if they're too old but idm that in that way.

Not necessarily. Most of the time that could be the case but other times they might just wanna be friends with people around their own age/maturity level (which age can sometimes dictate)
