A beach with my girlfriend, we strolled over the beach for a nice place to sit on holidays and bumped into a panel that said ‘clothing optional after this point’ (Caribbean islands) we looked at each other with some ‘why not try, nobody knows us here anyway’. We’ve spend some hours naked on the beach, went into the sea and dried up in the sun without sticking and wet bathing clothes. Eternal bliss. Need to go back there some day, so much better than clothing obligatory beaches. I don’t need to stroll through a village or beach-volley terrain butt naked but the beach was bliss.
I went to a nudist beach a couple of times several years ago. It was... Interesting. Watching everyone nude, sunbathing or swimming, playing... There is a mix of conflicting emotions that put some of your views into perspective: everyone there feels normal being nude and do their business without care, like it is normal. Like, why be embarrassed of showing your boobs or penis if everyone already knows you have them and how they approximately look like? It kind of gives you a weird confidence in your body because it is normal.
Contrary to what you might imagine, almost everyone at nude beaches and especially at resorts are incredibly well mannered and respectful and try not to make anyone feel uncomfortable.
Exactly! I've been way to many times to count, and only witnessed one or two "problem people" and they were usually handled quickly.

i went 1st time recently and definitely felt freeing but a little surprised i didn't feel awkward at all... think i was just ready after so long wanting to try... but can also see how a woman's experience can be different

but the local nude beaches here are frequented mostly by men, and a lot of them old looking and overweight... we can't help our age or how we look, but when one is so big that they can't see if they even have a dick, they should be a little more self conscious...
I've been to quite a few nude beaches, clothing optional hot springs, and nude resorts, as well as unofficial nude swimming holes. I thoroughly enjoy those experiences, and highly recommend them!
