Relationship sex is almost always better... BUT, casual sex CAN still be great. And even if it's not great, it can still be pretty good and something you need.
It's like food: of course you'd like a really nice dinner prepared by a master chef if you can get it, but grilling steaks, potatoes, and corn-on-the-cob in your own backyard can be pretty good too. And if you haven't eaten in a few days, lowly McDonalds seems pretty good, even if it is trash in comparison to the master chef's food.
Most men are going to prefer SOME sex - even if it's only mediocre - to going without sex entirely. We'd rather eat McDonalds than starve.

In a relationship it means a lot more, more sensual, deeper more intense feelings and the pleasure comes from deeper inside from your soul. Although I did have some great sex before marriage, it's also intense seems like it comes more from a different place, more cerebral. Married sex does get routine, you gotta do things to keep it spicy and fresh.
Casual sex is better because girls are more responsive and there is more variety in what girls like. So, I might find a girl one weekend who loves it in the ass but after I've topped off that experience I'll want a girl who just wants to 69 or something. Sex in a relationship tends to get redundant.
I think it depends on the person because I had intense sex casually and within a relationship. I’m gonna be myself regardless but I understand in a casual situation I have to go a bit slow or gentle until I know what they’re able to handle or enjoy.
