Have an attractive massage therapist and get very obvious erection, is this normal?

I've started getting full body massages recently and my massage therapist is pretty attractive. I always get erections during them and it's extremely obvious one I am supposed to lie on my back. Of course the blankets are somewhat thin and there seems to be no way I can hide this. Very embarrassed by it and makes me nervous. Wondering what she'll think and if it'll cause a problem. I think it makes her somewhat uncomfortable. Is this normal? Should I be embarrassed or I worry that she think's its creepy and make some sexual advance towards her?

  • I'm sure if she has been a massage therapist for a while that it's happened before and she just tries to be professional and do the job. It's probably a little uncomfortable but as long as you are not acting like your a horny creep looking to bounce on her and/or get a happy ending or get laid you should be ok.

  • You should just get over it. If she's attractive and has other male customers, she sees it all the time. You could try thinking about the last time you had to put a pet down or some equally sad event to help reduce the tumescence. ;)

    • She sees it all day, every day. I wouldn't be surprised if once in awhile, a customer is so attractive that she throws him out of her practice so she can get her hands, mouth and other orifices around that thing.

    • Do you really believe that can happen "off the record" with clients? I would never pursue such a thing though.

    • Of course it happens but it's not for everyone and the chemistry is sort of hit and miss.

  • Maybe just ask to stay on your stomach for the massage. Or next time ask for a male masseuse?

    • I couldn't do that as I'm paying for the whole experience. I would never make any advance towards her, nor try to do anything that would make her feel uncomfortable.

    • I personally think male masseurs are better any way since their hands cover more surface area and usually get deep tissue / firm pressure massages

  • getting an erection during a massage is normal. there's science to back it up.

  • If it makes you feel that bad, just apologize. I'm sure she deals with it all the time and would tell you as such. So long as you aren't acting like you expect her to "relieve" you, I don't think she'll be offended by it.

  • As long as you don't do anything inappropriate, your MT will understand it's just a normal body reaction to the stimulation of the autonomic nervous system. It's happened to me before too. Any good MT who works on men know that this can happen, that it's normal, and she'll just ignore it.

  • Its normal. But may or may not ba appropiate to act on it. Just lay back and enjoy. But if you compliment her. Keep it respectful. Its ok to let her know she does a great job and you feel great when you leave. Im sure she notices your erection.
