Have guys in this generation stopped using condoms?

Question

I stopped by the pharmacy and looked at condoms right there on the shelf display. I remember back when I was a teenager all stores kept the condoms locked 🔒 up behind a glass counter. Now they’re fully stacked and I guess people hardly buy them. What happened?

I don't know you can get condoms here everywhere. Pharmacy is the last place I would get them from because it's the most expensive one. They have free condom dispenser at our school and buying them online or in the supermarket is the easiest.

That being said most guys I slept with wanted to do it without but can't say if that's a new thing or not

I've not heard this is true and I have a 27 year old son. I think condoms are the only insurance a male has that he's worked to prevent a pregnancy and protect himself from STDs.

I gave my son condoms and exhorted him to use them. I think he's done so and hasn't come up with an STD or baby yet.

In my generation, sexually active girlfriends were on the pill. I never had to use condoms.  I have before and they really detract from the sexual experience.

Bare sex is just so much more pleasurable than with a condom. If you're worried about STD's, have your prospective lovers get tested before you have sex with them.

I for one am glad that they are easy to buy. I have used them every time I have had sex and will continue to do so unless I know the girl is on birth control and has no STDs. I for one do not want to be an unmarried daddy!
