I have a feeling this is all political theater to make Trump look good to Republicans during the Republican primaries, so he has a better chance at winning the nomination instead of Ron DeSantis who poses a bigger threat to Biden. Maybe if the DNC didn't have a questionable past which include helping Trump win the Republican primary thinking he'd be the easiest for Hillary to beat, maybe people, myself included would less likely question motives. Trump should have been indicated sooner instead of close to 2024 election. Just going to watch and hope it's not a repeat of 2016.

Well good. It’d be great if youd be more vocal about how shitty republicans are a bit more often. I can acknowledge how important this moment is in our country’s history while also agreeing with you that its likely nothing substantial happens as a result. But remember a week ago you yourself said an indictment would never happen and yet here we are! So who knows, we haven’t been here before in our history. it’s untraveled territory we are entering so something big may just happen after all. I choose optimism here. Georgia and DC are still coming next. Now with new york opening the flood gates i think its very likely the rest follow their lead. If Trump actually does get convicted and at most he's place on house arrest would you accept that? I sure would. And no i do not think this will help trump. At all. Only his most loyal supporters see this as a boost to his campaign. Everyone supports the indictment.
