I've been a number of times. Sometimes it was fun (the times when I was making the decisions, mostly), and sometimes it wasn't (such as when I would have to go with my boss, who thought he would impress contractors by having meetings at a strip club). But I always understood that a strip club was ONLY entertainment, and NOT a place to go expecting sexual satisfaction, or to "save a ho."

Yeah, I had a few lap dances, and yeah, they were fun, but mostly I had real conversations with the girls - some of them, anyway - and in doing that, I had a lot more fun, for a LOT less money, than the guys who were trying to impress them with money. Every guy comes in with money - that's nothing new or unique to a stripper - but talking to them like they were real human beings, THAT is unique for most strippers, and a lot of them clearly craved that and really appreciated it - and were even happy to forego making money to continue the conversation. A few times it even got me some free lap dances.

The last time I went was about 8 years ago, because my girlfriend wanted to go and had never been. It was fun because SHE had a great time, and because I made friends with the DJ and got him to play some great music.

The times I went with my old boss were lousy. He would take me to a couple of terrible clubs for meetings, and mostly he made everyone uncomfortable. I only worked for him for about 9 months before I moved on, and was happy to go. I'm pretty sure the clubs he liked REQUIRED the strippers to have fake boobs and C-section scars at the very least, and quite a few of them were just unfortunate-looking. Strip clubs are like restaurants - there are 5-star restaurants and there are roach-infested off-brand fast-food joints, and while those both fall under the "food" category, the experience is VASTY different. Strip clubs are also vastly different, and your experience in a well-managed club is going to be vastly different than a poorly-managed club - much less a ghetto club.

Yes I have been and no I did not have fun. It is a situation maybe some people can relate to and maybe others cannot so it might sound weird. I was 18 dating a 22yo who treated me like crap and I was brainwashed or something like that. I mean, I really was brainwashed, not just that he treated me like I was. I could not say no to him, I was unhappy a lot and there were many situations where I didn't want to be there and didn't want to talk to anybody and wished I could vanish and this was one of those situations, one of my boyfriend's stupid friends wanted to go and so we all went. I was underage but they let me in anyway w no wristband or anything. Maybe they thought I wanted to work there (I was dressed skimpy), I think three people who worked there approached me to talk about being a dancer there, the guys made fun of me for it also. My job there was to give the girls the dollar bills from the guys. I did not like doing that and I doubt the girls liked it either. I don't really have an opinion about strip clubs for other situations or other people but since you asked, I hated being there in that situation. JMO!

To a strip cub, no.. have been to parties where there was a stripper (an old neighbor’s party and my first husband’s 21st birthday party I got him a stripper but the stripper they sent was kinda old 😂)

I'd go once just to say I went or something but it's not really my scene. I don't like blowing money on something like that. I don't know I feel like I rather do a whole lot of other stuff with my time and funds l.

Yes, I've been to a strip club and I had fun.

I met a very attractive girl. We had lunch and as we left, she told me she was striper. She worked at the premier "Gentlemens Club" in town, think suits. She invited me to come by Thursday, Friday or Saturday, the only days she worked. Everytime I stopped by, she bought the drinks and spent time talking with me. She eventually moved on and lost contact.

Strip club - no but I've gone to clubs and bars when there's been strip shows.

I've walked out of one show - since the man getting naked was someone I used to babysit, that just didn't seem right to me. 😂

Yes, and I had a blast... I've been to so many clubs that it's ridiculous, but my best stories come from Guam.

So there was this big booty black chick bouncing everything around on stage and people were throwing dollar bills at her. I was like..."I have a bunch of pocket change." So I balled up my pennies, nickels, dimes, and Quarters inside of some one-dollar bills. I hit her right in the B-hole. Oh damn, she was pissed.
