Yes- but in fairness, it wasn't all that deep. I've been asked to do stranger things. The key, if you're nervous about asking for something, is to strive to create an atmosphere between you of trust and- especially important- non-judgement. If you ask something, and your partner recoils in disgust, but agrees to try it anyway, it's always going to bother you that they're just going through the motions.

That doesn't mean you can't say no, or that you should be dishonest about it, just that you shouldn't let knee-jerk reflexes govern your response.
