    I've spent only a little time in Florida and Louisiana, and didn't stumble across any gators during my visits. To be fair, that wasn't high on my agenda, though. Perhaps some day. I have some friends in Florida again, so maybe I'll be heading there for a vacation soon, and then, who knows? LOL.

  • Lots of times while playing golf. They are all over several of the South Florida Golf Courses that I play at.

  • Yep. My sons and I were playing golf in Florida and one son's ball ended up next to a log. As he approached the ball to hit it, the log moved. It was a gator, basking in the sun. He quickly dropped a new ball several feet away and hit his shot.

  • I've pulled them out of the road by the tail. Rescued snapping turtles, too.

    It's a bit too cold here in the great white north for gators.
    They would freeze solid.
    ! more reason I live where the cold hurts my face.

  • Not wild, per se, but in a botanical garden in Florida. We threw sticks at it. It ran into the stream and freaked us out. It wasn't fully grown

  • I think so, kind of. It was a tour thing but nothing like a full on zoo or safari. Just some houses and guys with boats.
