Yes, I've been to a bunch of them. The first couple of times it was my idea, but after that, it was generally someone else's idea (my friends, or a boss, or a potential business partner). I just see them as pleasant scenery (and in that respect, they're nice), but I don't go otherwise. Hell, it's been a decade since I've been to one.

They're fine if you view them as strictly expensive entertainment and just go for a laugh. If you go there thinking you're going to "get" one of the girls, you're going to "get" an empty wallet and not much more.

I went one time with some friends while I was in college to see what it was like. What was my experience? I left feeling all worked up and having no outlet.

I've come to feel over the years that I find strip clubs disgusting and I would never set foot in one ever again. I've bailed on some bachelor parties once it got to the strip club part of the evening.

The thing with strip clubs is, You HAVE to be willing to spend a good amount of money.

My Ex was a bartender at a Go-Go bar and I would go up to keep her company when it was slow.(got free drinks;-) I use to stay there later than the bouncers/after closing while she cleaned up her work station.

Once the dancers get to know you and see you often then it's much more fun.
