Have you ever had an orgasm while giving birth?

We all know that childbirth is usually excruciatingly painful. But research shows that due to stimulation of the vaginal canal, it can induce orgasm in a very small percentage of women. https://www.livescience.com/amp/37039-orgasmic-birth-real.html

I wonder how high that percentage is.

  • I have given birth, and didn't orgasm, but I did feel ecstasy

  • As far as I know, men are incapable of giving birth, madam mistixs of Texas!

  • It was just painful. I was focusing on pushing out a human. It was a beautiful experience like say a couple years later when I forgot about the pain.

  • Even if this could be true for some women out there I doubt it's very common and I also doubt the woman herself would recognize the feeling whilst giving birth, since she's already experiencing excruciating pain in that area. It wouldn't be pleasant if it happened. So to me it sounds like bullshit. I mean sure maybe some masochistic women out there actually has had a orgasm while giving birth and somehow felt it. But it still sounds kinda bullshit to me.

    • The study is based on women themselves reporting orgasm during childbirth. Childbirth is excruciatingly painful, but it does involve stimulation of the vaginal canal & the internal parts of the clitoris, so the possibility of an orgasm is unsurprising. Sometimes genital stimulation just leads to orgasm.

    • I don't really care if there's been a study on it. It still sounds very unlikely. It's either a very small amount that experiencing it (and can actually feel it), or it's bullshit. That's just what I think

    • Childbirth doesn't involve stimulation. But sure for some it could. But it's not that everyone's experiencing it
