Have you ever had blue balls?

Have you ever had blue balls?

And how bad are blue balls if you've had them?

I watched a video of a girl interviewing a bunch of guys and 80% of them were saying they never had them and didn't even think they were real. So I'm just interested what y'alls experience is. I always thought they were real but I have no experience with this.

  • I've only known my b/f to get them once, and it definitely seemed like it was a real thing. I mean they didn't actually go blue, but it was when we were on holiday around 3 years ago. I thought it would be funny/sexy to tease him by not having sex one night, then the next morning (knowing he would be dying for it), get up first, get washed/dressed wear something sexy for the day and go on the coach-trip we had booked. So sure enough, he got up, massive hard-on, trying to hide it, a bit embarrassed etc, as I was already dressed (tight vest-top, very short denim skirt, bare legs, flip-flops) and it was time to go and catch the coach. All morning I kept catching him staring at me, obviously really dying for it by this point. Then I noticed he was kind of having trouble walking, and was trying to hide it. So I asked him about it and he said he had a kind of dull-stomach ache, and his balls were really hurting. He didn't even mention sex, he said he'd take some aspirin and would probably be OK. This is when I started feeling really guilty, as it was still 3 hours till the coach took us back to the hotel. So, I phoned a cab, told him we were going back to the hotel early. He looked really relieved, and all the way back in the cab he looked at me like he was getting "lost" in me, and kept stroking my legs. It was sexy and kind of romantic, but I felt awful, as from the way he was walking and getting in/out of the cab he was obviously still in some pain. Then, when we got to our room, he basically threw me onto the bed on my back and f*cked the hell out of me for about 2mins before he came. Then, still without saying anything, he kind of lay on top of me for a few minutes, I felt him get hard again, and he just went at it for a good 40mins before cumming again. It was very intense, powerful sex. I enjoyed it, it didn't hurt me at all, but I wasn't really "into" it that much. It was just obvious he needed it rather than wanted it, as such. Since then I've always been VERY careful about when/where I tease him sexually, and yes "blue balls" is definitely a thing.

    • Thank you

    • This woman is telling the truth!

  • I think most men (provided they believe it even exists) don't actually mean their balls turn blue, but that is just aching from edging basically. So by that definition it pretty much can't exist unless you put yourself in a situation where you are being aroused for a very extended amount of time and unable to do anything about it. Which is why I think so it's extremely stupid when men complain about, are putting themselves through that.

But I don't know if that is even how it works, so it very well may not exist at all. My husband does not believe it exists.

    • Yeah I know it's doesn't actually make the balls blue lol And agreed if a guy gets this it's pretty much his fault for getting overly turned on

    • @apple1996 Not true, it's not always from self edging

    • @spartan55 even if it's from a girl then he needs to chill out or masturbate before going out with her

  • Lol! I love this; and your questions are always so good apple! Honestly I hadn’t even heard of edging until after my ex and I broke up and that was really the only time I would have ever edged so bad that I might have gotten them if they are real. I think though that it is more a thing kind of like how girls don’t always believe that they can have handless orgasumes… it’s totally a thing they should all be capable of and no doubt if we all had the discipline to do these different things we would all be better for them…

    • True both genders can have mental orgasms without their hands

    • I know I heard about it a while back and want to train myself to be able to do that instead of masturbating but damn…

    • I do it all the time but it's much easier for women

  • lol love the picture - especially as I have smallish balls :)

I think "blue balls" is more of a state of mind expression than a "real" thing.

As an example of when I have felt it... eons ago... first few dates with my now wife, lots of kissing and groping/feeling etc... but nothing more. I'd be over the top aroused physically and mentally so as soon as I got home, I'd jerkoff.

    P. S. I would never say to anyone (especially not her) that she left me with "blue balls"

    • Definitely seems more mental then real

    • agreed... saying that while currently taking care of my blue balls lol :)

    • @apple1996 thanks for the MHO and the fun question :)

  • I have had them
I've had a mild case and I have had a hardcore case both hurt and with the hardcore case you have to masturbate quickly because otherwise you're going to be hurting for a little while

  • I've had it pretty bad a couple of times in my life. The last time I had it was at least 30 years ago, probably longer than that. So it's rare. I'm not surprised that not all guys have had it.

  • Its more mental then physical. But if you have been aroused to the piont of, but not ejectulating then yes over time it becomes uncomfortable. Its not painful, but that built up sperms wants to get out, so you masturbate.

Its not rocket science guys jerk off all the time, and they know when the blue balls are coming and they should be dealing with it.

The whole cold shower thing is a joke. Thats intended to reduce your level of arousal. What you really need to do is let it out, and if not with her, then without her.

  • I've had them, and they are definitely real.

It's certainly uncomfortable, even a little painful, but not debilitating. I know that some guys use them as an excuse to guilt women into sleeping with them, but that's just bullsh! t.

They are just caused by being aroused for an extended period of time, without ejaculation. Nothing that can't be solved privately. Once you orgasm, it'll go away in a little while.

Not something that I enjoy experiencing, obviously, but it's just temporary, and easily fixable when you've got a few minutes alone. 🤷‍♂️

  • I’ve asked a lot of guys the same thing in the past - is blue balls real or a myth? And every single one of them told me they’ve never experienced it and one said that he believes it’s just a tactic for guys to guilt trip women into sleeping with them or doing sexual acts. Like if a woman changes her mind and says she doesn’t want to sleep with him or do any sexual acts, and he’s already hard and says “oh but babe, I’ve got blue balls. Its sooo painful can you at least help and get rid of my boner?” Then she’s going to feel obligated to help relieve him even though she really doesn’t want to, and he could’ve just jerked himself off if it was that bad.

Maybe some guys DO get actual “blue balls” but I think it would be rare.

    • I think many guys do lie and exaggerate to try to coerce women into sexually gratifying them. That said, blue balls is a real thing. It's not like it's some kind of medical emergency where the dude's nuts are gonna explode if he doesn't get a blowjob or whatever. As for whether it's "sooo painful," I'd say that normally it's just uncomfortable and frustrated. If arousal without release happens repeatedly over a long (few days to a week) period of time, then it can be legitimately painful, but obviously it's not a woman's responsibility to fix that.

    • It's REAL. They DON'T turn blue, but it feels like they're heavy or squeezed in a vise. Some guys get bad pain.

    • Oh I’m sure it’s real for some guys, but I think those guys are far and few between.

  • I almost always ejaculate at least once a day, from sex or masturbation. If i go for a week without and get aroused and don't ejaculate they can be sore. Good thing going for a week without ejaculating is a rare experience for me. I think it's been more than a year since that happened.

    • can guys go a week? lol

    • @orangecherry I can, but why would I want to?

  • Yes, I’ve had “blue balls”. And I’ve heard that most guys have never experienced it, but I certainly have. First off, my balls don’t actually turn blue when it happens, they just ache a fair amount.. lol. When I get them is usually after I have been very sexually aroused and, for whatever reason, did not get to have an orgasm. The result is usually a dull ache in my balls that only subsides when I finally do cum, or if I wait it out for 24-48 hrs. It’s not a terribly big deal, but it can be a bit uncomfortable.

  • A very mild case that was quickly alleviated.

    • @apple1996 @spartan55 Was it from too much sex or not enough sex? I never saw that before

    • @jennz6 It's not about the amount of sex or lack thereof. It's about not getting your release when needed. Q

  • Yes I have when I was in high school and could not get a handjob from the girl. I had to hurry home to jerk off which always worked.

  • It's not an actual condition where they turn blue and start hurting It's just an excess of arousal without a climax that leaves you in an uncomfortable situation.
Generally speaking blue balls is far more a mental issue than a physical one.

  • Yes. Not fun per se but it was part of sex at with my wife so I enjoyed that. The relief when I got to orgasm was intense!

  • They're not real 💀 just a way for shitty men to try coerce women to preform sexual acts.

    • That's not true. They are real. Normally I'd be 100% on your side, but the facts say differently in the case.

    • Still, you are half right.

    • @Jamie05rhs epididymal hypertension is a temporary feeling. 99% of men who say that they experienced it in the moment of rejection are not actually, they're lying in order to get what they want.

  • nope... never ever in my life

which is why I do see it as a myth, and not an actual thing...

I guess every person is different... because I often hear about "no teeth, it hurts like hell!!! " however, you'll never have me complaining about teeth, anywhere... lol

    • I also here the teeth thing often but guys won't even notice if there's a little teeth rubbing. And yeah might be a myth just to make women feel bad about not getting a guy off

    • I've always thought that's all there is to it... BS claims, lol... out of frustration

  • Yes all the time back in high school, making out in the the locker areas gave me blue balls

  • I’ve been sexually frustrated before but it was never physically painful just annoying. I’ve heard of blue clit but never actually experienced it.

  • I don't have any balls so my answer is no

    • Excellent answer!

    • @B4852 @paige90 Is it a real thing or a Myth?

    • @Jennz6 I say myth since I have never had them

  • Welp it hasn't existed for myself yet that's for sure. And trust me I have edged for a long ass time or just had many times I've been turned on but done nothing.
Guess some people are just more immune to it or will be until older.

  • Nope, never happened. I enjoy being teased. Balls never hurt

  • Yes I've had them. It's uncomfortable. It's a deep painful feeling.

  • Not sure honestly. It’s been a while since I was a teenager and since then I’ve never really had trouble getting sex.
