I think I can still taste stuff but I'm wanting to drown things in peppers and hot sauce. So it's certainly not acute. Last year and years before, my tastes were towards the bland side -- low sodium, light taste. I always liked the light-tasting stuff. But this year I'm wanting all heavy -- or extremely spicy, to burn my eyes out. I wanna feel something.
0 1 0 0I do like to eat stuff. I remember when I was your age though, even without COVID, that I found eating a chore and tedium. I ate fast and got back to what I was doing. But I'm dreaming of all tabasco and death sauce and buffalo sauce now. I keep looking for spicy. I wanna make everything spicy.
I wonder is that how I'm going to be when I get older🤔. I like spicy stuff myself, but not all the time. Mainly just hot chips.
Try to take it easy on the booze. I think I should have done that. Too late now! :-D

I have had my mouth numbed for a short time and it was so weird and I didn't like the feeling of no taste so i can only imagine how frustrating it must be for an extended period of time! Hope you feel better soon!
0 1 0 0It is indeed pretty fustrating, lol. I think my sense of taste will come back after a week if I'm lucky. My fever, headaches, and other symptoms are gone by the way! Just to update you! Hopefully they won't be coming back.
Oh that is good! How long until you tested positive for it?
When I've gotten a cold in the past taste has been altered, lol I just recommend soup
