Welp... this is awkward... but hear me out. LOL. This still blows my mind til this day. So my girlfriend and her mom are REALLY close. I don't live with my girlfriend, but her mom has a tendency to just welcome herself into my girlfriend's home. She has randomly let herself in when I've been over a few times. Lol.
My girlfriend and I were having sex one time in the shower and we left the bathroom door open, because it was just in the apartment. All of a sudden we hear the front door to the apartment open up and her mom just yells, "HELLO!"
My girlfriend and I freeze for a second, and she then tells me to be quiet. My girlfriend then yells back, "I"M IN THE SHOWER!" As we are still having sex in the shower (my girlfriend is being very careful not to moan), we can hear her moms footsteps making her way to the bathroom entrance and she stops at the bathroom door.
As we are still having sex (shower curtain was closed and the curtain is very dark, so you can't make out any shadows or movement), my girlfriend's mom and my girlfriend start briefly talking. Apparently, she came over to get some pots and pan she loaned my girlfriend.
She then enters the bathroom and she begins fixing up her makeup and still talking to my girlfriend! LOL. She eventually leaves the bathroom, grabs whatever she needs and then you can hear her yell, "BYE"!
Needless to say, it was awkward. LOL.
Many times in college by a roommate... no big deal. We just kept at it.
In high school my older sister walked in on me while I was completely naked and masturbating mid orgasm. She stared for what seemed a long time, but was probably not. I was way embarrassed. Haha... yep, walked in on my mom and boyfriend when I was 15. I was supposed to be staying at a friend's house and came home early. Mom and Gary were actually just getting started on the couch and there was no clothing yet removed but there is no doubt where it was headed.

I have been in both situations. When walking in I just apologised and left as gracefully and quickly as possible. When walked in on I got a similar response. Afterwards is the problem. I opted for the act casual don’t talk about it and everything is normal.

Sex is natural. Its what we do. Sure being discreet is good. But when people live in a house together everyone knows whats going on unless you have a perfect soundproof room. Walking in might be an accident but i can gurantee she has heard you going at it before.
I've never walked in on anyone but have been walked in on several times. Three times my oldest brother walked in on me with a boyfriend on the third time I said put your key on the nightstand you're done having access to my place. Since being married just over a month 9 year old son has walked in on me masturbating in bed 3 times and husband I having sex twice and once us doing 69. My husband finally installed a lock on the bedroom door.

I don't think there is any need for special reaction. My dad walked in my room when I was with my ex. He apologized. Never talked about that, what would be the point.

My mother in law walked in on me and my hubby when we were dating. It was pretty embarrassing. Especially when she seen he wasn't wearing a condom and immediately got into a fight with him about how he was lying about using protection 😆😆

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Sex is natural and everyone does it. Sex was very open at my house when I was growing up and I have been walked in and have walked in many times during sex. It really isn't a big deal.
I've walked in on my parents having sex plenty of times because some people don't seem to realize that the bedroom is the place to do that. I just started saying, "ok goodbye," and walking away. Every single time they laugh. -_-
When I was 13, I walked in on my date (not really serious girlfriend) having sex. Basically I knew this chick for 3 months. I was home-schooled at the time. I finished my work early so my grandmother let my date's mom pick me up to go to their house. We planned on surprising my date when she got back from school. However, we hear a lot of screaming (I did not know what sex sounded like at the time and her mom was hard of hearing) so I bust the door down and charged in to try to attack what I thought was a burglar. Turned out to be my date having sex with another classmate. I just turned around, walked out and walked back home.
I would say: Is everything all right? You came in without knocking. Is there a problem?

My son did that when he was 17. I told him mommie and daddy were wrestling. He's in his 30s now and still laughing.
It's why we have a deadbolt lock on our bedroom door :) None of the kids have ever walked in or tried to but my wife was always nervous about the possibility so one day a long time ago I put the deadbolt on... anxiety problem solved ha.
