I hadn't really thought of this before. But lately I want to be popular. I want this for my talents to stand out.
When I was a teenager and trying to be a musician, yes I wanted to be popular. Probably most young adults want that because in our youth we want to be seen and loved and known by the world, though part of this is because of the toxic public school system.
That might change as you get older. It does for most people. But there are adults my age and older who still desperately crave popularity, and I think if they're still wanting that in adulthood it must be because they're not happy with themselves or are the types of people who don't know how to enjoy life without the mass love of others.

I have always wanted to be well liked... the "popular" word may be a bit much for me. But I think all people like to be respected and liked. You talk about talents... what are you referring to?

Used to when I was younger, but I realised the grass is always greener on the other side. I hate critics and too much of attention so I guess I can’t be a celeb lol. You need to have thick skin to be one.
1 1 0 0I was popular in highschool and college and I can tell you at the end of the day it doesn't mean anything really.

1 0 0 0@BornToDiee this is such a great question. The answer is yes. Like, I don't necessarily want super stardom but some level of popular and success would be really nice.
1 0 0 0When I was younger. But it's kind of a rule that to attract attention means some fixed proportion of that attention will be hate. I don't mind but don't really have the patience for it.

I have wanted to pass unseen during the night.1 0 0 0I don’t want to be popular, but I do want a small amount of people I’m close with. Like if I ever do streaming, I would want it to stay small.
1 0 0 0I kind of was and it sucked and got me into a lot of unnecessary bs
1 0 0 0I've been popular before. I've never been cool, but I've been popular. It's pretty nice. It's not bad.
It's a little bit of pressure, though.1 0 0 0Popularity comes with responsibility. I only want it if it means I have a lot of genuine friends, as quality far surpasses quantity. Popularity as in having fans can easily go away.
1 0 0 0As a kid, yes. Glad that dream didn't come true.
1 0 0 0Yes, then I realized that it would be better if I were me and not try to be popular. If I was popular being me, then I would be, otherwise no.
