Help with edging?

I've recently read about 'edging', where you bring your partner very close to an orgasm (ie on the 'edge') and then decrease the intensity, build it up again, decrease it etc which can lead to a more powerful orgasm in the end. I want to try this with my boyfriend but I don't know how to work out if he is close, or what to do specifically to make him reach the edge and then what to do to increase the intensity. I know that it will be different for everyone, but I would appreciate some ideas from what works for you/your boyfriends and how you do this. Thanks!

  • Hmm, the trick to edging another person is learning how to interperet their responses, so you'll know when to stop.

    At first, you may just want to have him tell you, when he is getting close, because it will be a lot easier. He'll be able to feel it, whereas you won't be.

    With practice, though, you'll start to notice the little cues that he gives. His breathing may quicken, or his pulse will get faster. His dick will get a little bit firmer. The head will start to swell, and his testicles will begin to contract, slightly. Those are all indicators that he is about to orgasm.

    He may not display all of those, and it's kind of a fine line between them, and "point of no return.". Communicating with him, at least in the beginning, is the key. Don't be afraid to ask him for advice, or feedback.

    As for how to make it more intense; it's very easy. Whatever you would normally do, to make him orgasm, you can just repeat. Once he gets close, then slow down (or stop, if it's easier), and wait for him to calm down a little bit. Then bring him to the edge again, either the same way, or a different way. When he gets close, then slow down again. Just repeat that, until you're ready for him to cum.

    With enough practice, you can keep him right on the edge for a long time, so it will feel almost like one continuous orgasm, for him.

    Also, if you're having trouble finding just the right point to stop, you can "forcibly" delay his orgasm by squeezing the base of his shaft, specifically the underside of it.

    Not super hard, mind you, but enough that you can block the release of semen. Basically place two fingers on the top and your thumb against the underside, and press them together. Try to be careful, though, as you could hurt him, by squeezing too hard, so again, communication is the key.

    My guess is that you will learn by doing. It's not realistic to expect yourselves to get it perfect at the first try.

    But, if you want to do this completely on your own, I can only imagine it possible with oral.
