Because, for most men, sex CAN be about romance and love and feelings, but it does not HAVE to be. Men are perfectly capable of having casual sex with someone they don't even know, and enjoying it. I realize that most women can't do this, and so it's difficult for you to understand how men can, but this is a very real difference between men and women, and you'll never understand men until you understand the concept that men can separate sex from love in a way that most women simply can't.

For men, sex can be an end in itself; it feels good and provides a needed release. It's just that simple. But as a woman, whenever you are dealing with a man, you must ALWAYS ask yourself: is his interest limited only to sex, or does he have ROMANTIC intentions? Most of the time, it will be the latter, not the former, and you must always assume "just sex" until otherwise proven.
