If it was my niece in this case I'd have her and her boyfriend over and make it very clear that I have ZERO respect for a little shit beating her. I'd make it clear next bruise is gonna be the cops coming for his ass. I get this sometimes you just feel trapped just make sure she knows you are always there for her to come home with all her children when she decides to. Talk to her in a way to build up her self esteem rather than begging her to leave.
