Also, I could see why some people have issues with uh, these characters. Most anime characters or whatever depict young women who are underage, and dress in them in sexual / revealing clothing is promoting pedophilia.

Actually, very few anime characters fit that profile, most characters in anime are dressed normally because most anime are action shows, not fap material, and most scantily clad ones in more sexualized shows are adults. People who think otherwise probably don't watch much anime.

Dude, feminist complain about it cause it's literally what they are against. Those are stripped down, overly, unnecessary sexualize depictions of women with unrealistic/impossible body shapes and often even tho they look grown usually are very young/underage according to the made up characters backstory. It's not hard to see why they think that depicts women as sex objects that are only valued for their looks, it is in a way demeaning to women. So don't expect feminist of all people to like them.

If anything you'd ask why it's impowering when a women dresses like that but oppressive when a guy draws what he likes but that's a completely different discussion from what you asked.
