Naturally, the rough sex is more intense and that's usually where people orgasm. But it doesn't have to be one or the other. You can like the romantic sex and the rough sex. I think most women like both. It's a bit harder to tell with men because they usually don't talk about romance (not in public anyway). But I can definitely enjoy either kind.
Because sex isn't ALWAYS about orgasming for women. It's kinda weird for guys to understand that, I know, because for us not havingan orgasm is like failed sex, it's just frustrating, but I've known plenty of girls who can enjoy sex without orgasming. Not that they're okay with NEVER orgasming, but it's not a necessity for them all the time.
Girls generally need to feel like you respect them, so by starting nice and slow, you gain their trust, at which point you can get rough. I personally love rough sex, but I also like to know that a guy is willing to do what it takes to get me off.
