How do I come out to my dad as bisexual?

How do I come out to my dad as bisexual?
So I’m bisexual I’m in my 20s, I’ve known since I was about 14 I thought girls are really hot just like guys, but I still live with my parents till I’m able to afford an apartment of my own. I have a boyfriend who happily supports my sexuality along with my mom but however my dad wouldn’t be on the same page because he is old fashion and doesn’t believe in a woman and a woman marrying or a man and a man marrying. He’s always also been strict and super religious. I’m a Christian too but I believe God loves us all equally. Any tips? Who else can relate? Should i wait to come out till I move out?

  • Tbh its completely your choice darling n what i know is usually even old fashioned people get along with lesbians but not with gays so u better tell him or maybe sometime make out a little with a girl n pretend to get caught by him n u will know how that goes n u can take it further from there

    • Thanks for MHO honey

  • Why do you feel you need to do any kind of come out? It's no one's business but yours.

  • That is an easy one.

Tell your dad that a girlfriend of yours from work, or college, etc, someone he doesn't know, has told you that she is bisexual and tell him that you weren't sure what to say to her and ask him what he thinks you should have said.

If his reply is negative then you will know and can decide where to go from there, but if it is positive, you could simply say..."I am too but I wasn't sure how to share it with you."

    Good luck :)

  • I am bi but i can't give any advice because my family rejected me

  • A christian gay women? What's next a Jewish nazi? (oh wait that was a thing smh) Just don't come out about it if you don't want him to hate you or let him hate you either way he's not ever gonna accept it because people who listen to the words of book of how there morals should be and only listen to that are usually unreasonable.

  • You don’t have to. It’s none of his business.

  • I think it's better, at this moment, not to come out.

  • Yes wait to come out til you move out lol

  • You might as well just beat the fuck out of yourself and frame him for it.

  • I would wait jsut to be safe, then you can give him distance if need be

  • Honestly, given how your father would react, I wouldn't ever tell him. But waiting till you move out would be a great idea!

  • I should imagine your father will be knowing you are or have a good idea. I was aware my youngest daughter was lesbian a lot time before she told me. Parents in many cases can see these things they are just waiting for you to tell them...

  • Big girls are so hot

  • I would wait

  • don't worry most girls as bisexual

  • you're not christian

    • And you're, like, 12.
