How do they check for anal fissures?

I think I have one about a knuckle deep, and I mentioned it to my Dr when I went to have some blood drawn yesterday and they told me I'd need to set an appointment for next week to have it checked out... I just don't know what to expect and it's not setting well...

It should be a quick check that shouldn't more than a minute or so, I would imagine.

I know that this is very intrusive but this is what doctors do for a living. It's their job. I've been in your position so I do empathize. My female doctor checks out my entire body once a year and looks at my penis to be on the safe side because I have a mark there.

Very embarrassing for me at first but I got used to it. Just takes time for a lot of people.

Lean forward against the table, spread your cheeks, a scope goes up your patooty to look for fissures. It's uncomfortable. You'll get to wipe the lube out after but it's better to bring wipes and extra panties.

How are they going to see inside of you unless they use a scope? If they used a speculum the metal would cover portions of the tissue and the doctor would not be able to see everything. Of course they use a scope. They've been using scopes for decades.

Coming back from combat and dealing with loud noises and threatening looks without becoming a mass murderer is what many veterans have to deal with daily. I was molested, mom and aunt and numerous cousins were raped. Just move on and stop looking for excuses to be a victim AGAIN. This may sound harsh but there are thousands of generations that have moved on from trauma. How important is it to find out if you have a fissure? If it’s important enough then you’ll do it. If you’re afraid of a bad memory, erase it. Cover it up with good memories and then live your life without fear of a memory.

I get better every day, but I am a survivor, and it does leave certain wounds that, I've been told take a very long time to heal, leaving scars that never fade away. But if the worst I take from it is not being able to have strangers stick things in my naked behind from behind, I think I'm coping pretty good! Lol
