How do/would you feel about the outline of your nipples being visible through your shirt?

I don't think women should be judged for this, because I don't think women should be expected to wear uncomfortable bras and/or undershirts just to appease society, but personally I try to avoid it. I would find it embarrassing. And yeah I know that many guys find visible nipple outlines to be a turn-on; ironically that's the main reason I would find it embarrassing.

I'll leave this poll open for guys too since some guys show nipple outlines too.

  • Not the way I like to carry myself. I like to be responsible with what I wear, or as you say, I like to "appease society" because I think they deserve it. And if it's about feeling sexy, I think there are far more subtle and classy ways to be sexy.

Do I judge women who show nipples? Nah. Not my business, except if she's flashing it in my face or my guy's face. I find that unpleasant and disrespectful.

  • I don't care what turns other guys on. And what other women find embarassing. Bra is too uncomfortable and wearing it to hide your nipples or breast outline just doesn't make sense. like, why should I?

  • The picture you picked out is fantastic. Thank you. :)

Seeing nipplage like that is so hot... I think bras should be banned. Women shouldn't have any problem going out in public like that. Unless of course they would feel self-conscious giving men boners all day. That would be silly because they would be high on all of the attention that they deserve. :)

    • Bras shouldn't be banned; some women really need them for comfort purposes.

    • Bras are uncomfortable yet needed for comfort. The dichotomy of women's underwear is deep. I think Harvard could create an entire philosophy class just on this subject. I would donate my own time to research the subject thoroughly.

    • "Bras are uncomfortable" and "bras are needed for comfort" are statements coming from 2 different groups of women. Women who say that bras are necessary for comfort tend to be women with large breasts. I've read at least one woman who said that if she doesn't wear a bra, then she gets back pain. Many other women don't need bras to feel comfortable. That's why I said "some women"

  • At home I don’t care. Never in public.

  • I've gone out like that plenty of times. Not only is it comfortable but I think it looks good too.

  • It's a bit eye catching but tbh I wouldn't think much of it, for a guy or a girl.

  • I don't really like it. Sometimes it happens even through a bra though and i can't do anything about it :/

  • I don't own too many bras. I think its pretty normal for your nipples to be visible.

    • Do you catch a lot of guys checking out your nips?

    • @razzmatazz11 I do yea. I dont think that's weird.

    • @ava00 that's very nice of you. It's like you're providing a community service LOL

  • I wouldn't really care so much for myself, unless it was extremely clear, like it might be on a very tight and also thin shirt, but for a normal shirt, it wouldn't bother me so much.

  • I feel (or would feel) indifferent about it. I don't care. I would go out like that.
Mine often show even with a bra. Can't help it so I'm not going to make a big fuss about it.

  • I'm indifferent. It happens. Headlights on or off, don't matter to me.

  • I don’t like it when my nipples can be seen through my shirt 😂. Makes me feel weird.

  • I'm not into this look.

  • I think it’s gross and shouldn’t be done, and I do judge women who knowingly go out like that.

    • I don't get why girls shame each other on this. How does it really affect your life? You are upset that they might get more attention from guys than you? I'm thinking this is a jealousy thing.

    • You’re mistaken, because it’s not. I get plenty of attention from my own boyfriend and I don’t appreciate nor want it coming from any other source. I just think the women who dress like that to get attention are pathetic and have no respect for themselves, so why in the world should I have any respect for them? And I don’t think it matters much anyhow. I treat them just the same as any other person, and I’ve never criticized or shamed anyone to their face. I just judge them in my head. So as long as I keep them to myself, what’s the problem with me having my personal opinions?

    • I don't think they all do it for the attention. It's also a comfort thing. But even if they were, it's no different than makeup or anything else girls do that gets attention.

  • They're nipplez, everyone has them. I dont see the issue with seeing the outline of a nipple through a shirt 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  • I love that a woman can be comfortable with her body, as far as my nipples poking out when I'm just in a tee-shirt I just look down at them and say something like its 34 degrees out according to my built in thermometer, nothing to be ashamed about just something that makes each of us unique.. if it isn't your nipples poking out, its going to be something else, embrace yourself rather than be selfconscious and miserable. ;--)

  • I have a friend I don't know what it is but when we go out just me and her for hangout. She wears no bra. Her nipples is just sticking out. Gosh 🥺🥴. I think she knows I like her breast. When we hang out in groups she wears bra.

I pray one day just give me one day to rain. 🤤.

  • I don't think about it for me, but it is a secret pleasure seeing it in girls.

  • I expect it's the only way small breasted women can experience to some extent what it's like for large breasted women, having men stare at their chests.

Though it's possible they'd be worrying men would notice their nipples poking out from their tiny breasts and chuckle at how small and pokey they are straining for attention.

  • Yes it can draw attention, as many things can. You should not wear if you don't like.
It should not feel "embarrassing" though, this is the line where I think social pressure is wrong, but I understand why you unfortunately feel that way
