How do you define "body count"?

I've seen this question asked a few times recently and I've always been of the mind that if there's a risk of catching something, there's penetration and an exchange of bodily fluids it counts towards your number. So oral sex only would count in the way I would define a persons number.
But I've seen on here recently a few people that have given/received oral sex say they're virgins. I've never really questioned that until now. While they haven't had vaginal sex they've still had a form of sex so are they virgins in your opinion?

Would you still consider a person a virgin if they have had oral sex?
Does oral sex actually count in what you define as your number?

  • Body Count is an awesome band fronted by Ice-T

Interesting you bring that up because I met a guy who's a veteran and a friend of one of my friends and are both going to military school. He's been trained in combat and sniping and he said a girl asked for his body count, he was like im not allowed to give that out. He thought she meant how many people did he kill when she was asking how many girls he's banged.

Anyways as far as body count goes, I have my number. Isn't super high or super low but I never understood why people have these conversations. STD and kids is understandable, but I can't see the number of sex partners talk ending up as nothing but awkward.

    • That wasn't really the question. But thanks for the reply.

    • sorry i went off on a tangent. But yes I do consider oral sex as part of the body count. It wouldn't be called oral sex if it wasn't sexual.

    • Also, people kiss and make out in public but they don't give oral in public.

  • I don't actually know where I stand on this...

I got blown plenty of times before I had vaginally intercourse, and I considered that I was a virgin until I'd ticked vaginally off the list.

So, by that logic, oral doesn't count. But I'm not really sure that really *is* logical?

What a genuinely thought provoking question! 🤔

  • i don’t consider anyone who’s had sex (vaginal, anal, oral) a virgin. when i think of a virgin i think of someone who hasn’t had any sex, personally.

I would think someone’s body count included anyone they had sex with, oral included. they were willing to put their junk in their mouth, so i wouldn’t think it was any less intimate.

  • To me they are still virgins in the traditional sense. But I don't understand how some people think 100cocks in the mouth is less slutty than 1 cock in the pussy.

  • I consider the body count the number of people one’s had penetrative sex with. If a person has had oral sex, they’re still a virgin in my opinion.

  • If someone has had oral sex I would hope that they're not running around advertising that they're still virgins, but at the same time I wouldn't count that as losing your virginity. It's gotta be vaginal or anal sex.

  • Oral is a form of sex but i still feel you're a virgin until youve been penetrated or penetrated someone else in a private region

  • when i hear body count, i think of a death toll... i wonder what went wrong in the world today? every time i see it, it takes me a half second to correct for context...

ummm... if i was to count how many people i was with, i would only include actual intercourse...

with virginity, i would say someone was a virgin unless it was typical sex, but if you are trying to skirt around some sort of religous rule, i would call you out on it not being that different... well, unless maybe it was being usedd as an excuse to have fun with me... i bet i could overlook the irony in that situation...

    • Haha trust me I agree with the body count and death toll thing but that's what people call it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I normally just say number because it does sound homicidal. Lol I don't think it's meant to skirt around anything. I think some people just genuinely don't consider oral sex sex. It makes little difference to me if they do or not, I was just curious where other people stood on it.

    • i find that not counting those occurrences while totaling is most common where i am... what i meant by saying that other sex acts are used to avoid religous stricture is more based on the idea that i highly doubt that the original intention was that people should only participate in oral or anal sex before marriage... their faith isn't my perogative, but i can help feeling a sense of irony when someone holds that stance...

  • I think it all counts.

By the way, 'body count'? Seriously? All popular words for this suck, but I still prefer 'score' to a term that means number of fatalities!!!

  • I thought it was actual penetration. Not just oral. If it includes mouth and hand play I would have no idea what mine is.

  • I would count penetration (not necessarily vaginal) as losing one's virginity. I know that my definition does not necessarily work for lesbians.

  • I think oral is like a different kind of virginity... that's probably bull buuut still.

    • In terms of body count I don't think a guy would count oral sex. Mostly because oral sex by itself is something that only seems to happen if the girl is the guy's girlfriend. Or I suppose if you have the generic slut stereotype willing t give anyone who asks a blow job then it's possible that's another time you'd have oral by itself. Even then I think guys wouldn't see the supposed task as complete if they didn't go all the way. Guys are weird... (myself included).

  • I do not consider someone a virgin if they've had oral sex, either giving or receiving. I would definitely count oral sex in the 'body count'.

  • You are a virgin, until penetration of the vagina. Oral sex is a sexual act, and does count toward how many people you have been sexually intimate with.

  • Only penile-vaginal sex counts towards body count as a straight person, in my opinion.

  • Oral sex is sex. That's why it has sex in the name. Lmao.

    • haha yeah not to mention you can still get STDs from oral

  • Ice-T's punk band wasn't terrible, better w Slayer doin Disorder tho;)

  • Oral yes but tainted virgin
My body count would include any sex where someone helped me shoot a rocket, regardless of where

  • Huh. I'd say if you've been naked with someone and have engaged in at least heavy Petting it should count. I guess if you wish to clarify you can say "I've had penetrative sex, oral sex, anal sex," etc.

  • "Body Count" is the number of fatalities during an incident or battle/war. I have never seen/hesrd it used in reference to sex.

    • Different generation? I have never seen body Count in terms of how many people you've banged.

    • I think it's dumb as fuck but the point was to get answers so I used the term I thought would get attention. Unfortunately many people decided to tell me similar to what you have and not actually answer the question so lesson learned.
