How do you feel about Hershey putting a trans woman on their candy bar wrapper for International Women's Day and calling it Her (for) She?

What Girls & Guys Said
31 56I can't feel anything and I don't care.
Marketing that works, and the naysayers are the ones making it work.
yeah the ones who are offended usually are the ones who bring it to the forefront. Would of never found it otherwise.
Exactly!
The best thing you can do is ignore it and NEVER by their products. But the controversy is more often than not profitable. But when has company ever done something controversial in the other direction and profited from it. If they put a image of a controversial conservative white male on a Hershey bar then the leftists would most likely get retailers to stop selling hersheys products. Why is the left so effective at boycotting, cancelling and censoring vs the right?
That's how andrew tate got popular. It's called provocative marketing. Mixed aith seductive marketing, all his girls/his carz
He deliberately pissed people off to get into their head
@RandomGuy1030 I agree with about 50% of what Andrew Tate says. I admit the other 50% is way over the top. But he is and always will be a pariah. He is speaking out against this system and the system is LEFT. Very left.
@blueonblack22 I've known about tate since I was 12 years old. Never thought in terms of how much I agree with. He's just entertaining and embodies masculinity. You guys who judge people based on every little thing they say are beyond me.
@RandomGuy1030 I have listened to a few of his videos and he’s definitely entertaining. If you got the balls to publicize unpopular opinions especially anti woke opinions and are prepared to face the brutal blowback but are smart enough to get rich doing it than good for you. Tate has been accused of rape, kidnapping and sex trafficking by the way. He is currently being detained and under investigation in Romania. Until there is solid evidence against him I will reserve judgment. If he really did what he was accused of then lock him away and throw away the key. But I know he’s a huge target for powerful leftist feminist organizations. It’s very possible he was setup by some bullshit elaborate politically motivated scheme. Radical leftists don’t care about what is right or wrong. Only winning. But still until more comes out of this I’ll reserve judgment. But again if you are right wing activist the powers that be are truly stacked against you.
@blueonblack22 I heard him say that he was involved in making feature length porn productions. And I heard his brother say the porn Industry is immoral because it involves human trafficking. You connect the dots.
He's very clearly the kind of man who can't control his urges. Not that that's bad. Just saying that it's very likely he has done more illegal things than you would want to know about
Would you guys kindly take this discussion elsewhere? I answered the question several comments back. Thanks.
@RandomGuy1030 well there is a thing called hearsay and when you are talking about life ending charges such as kidnapping, sex trafficking and rape you better have rock fucking solid evidence.
Modern feminists don’t feel this way however. Facts and hard evidence doesn’t matter. The woman’s word and feelings are “their truth” and their truth is “the truth”.
This is not to say Andrew Tate might not be guilty. But this criminal charge seems particularly “ace hole in one (ish)” to destroy his philosophy. Just too convenient.
Already you are seeing woke leftist feminists publish disgusting unsubstantiated claims that are somehow blaming Andrew Tate for other mens unsubstantiated actions.
The mass media doesn’t know how to distinguish opinion from hard facts on leftist issues. Here is a prime example www.newsweek.com/my-boyfriend-became-obsessed-andrew-tate-1780289
This activist excuse me “journalist” Melissa Fleur Afshar took a unidentified woman’s unproven claims that her ex boyfriend was a violent rapist who was “influenced” by Andrew Tate. She did more reaching than Gumby to somehow make Andrew Tate responsible for another man’s unproven actions. Is this worthy of being in a mainstream publication like Newsweek? Is this nonpartisan and fair journalism? Other than a random woman’s unproven testimony this article is clearly feminist propaganda. Yet is considered worth of the “Life” section of Newsweek.
@blueonblack22 respect what the bitch said...
@RandomGuy1030 respect who? The journalist who used zero substance what so ever? Let’s say that the person she interviewed is telling the truth. Okay that’s heinous and wrong and her ex boyfriend should be behind bars. But how the fuck is Andrew Tate responsible for his actions? Can you give me the video where Tate is directly telling men to sexually assault women? And if he really did say that (and he never did) most sane people would lose all respect for him (including me). But he didn’t. No Melissa Fleur Afshar is just a typical woke far leftist activist cunt who is promoted and cheered on by the mass media to print bias articles that bash all men. But she gets publish articles in so called “non partisan” news sources like Newsweek. Like her opinion is fact.
@saoirses sorry about thar. Didn’t see your comment until now. I won’t post anymore.
*that
I don't care how other people choose to live as long as it's not hurting others, but I think it's ridiculous and shameful to use a man to represent women on a day that was supposed to be dedicated to them.
Just another thing I won't buy anymore. Not that I bought it frequently.
Only in America! 😔
You mean a man?
How dare you lol
Cancel me.
🤣🤣
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Crass marketing.
But that shit is barely chocolate, anyway. So figures they would barely recognise a woman.
Idiotic.
And I thought hersheys looked like a turd before
Yet again a big corporation is erasing ACTUAL women in favor of their woke politics. Hershey can go broke too for all I use their products. Join Disney and Marvel and Facebook on the ash heap of history.
Smart marketing.
So now we can't even rep ourselves on women's day🤣we need to have dudes who identify as women to rep our day🤦🏾♀️
I think this is essentially doing the same as wearing blackface, and just as horribly insulting. They couldn't find a biological woman good enough for this?
@Sixgunsound i think it's a little different. Because the reasons behind them would be different
The people behind it hate real women and so used a man made up to look like a woman because they don't think an actual woman is good enough for the role? The similarities are very close.
It’s just some more far leftist stupidity.
Sadly, just another pathetic attempt to use some "burning social issue"to market, of all things, a candy bar. I don't eat their candy or anyone else's for that matter, but I saw the matter on TV news, and it doesn't impact me in the least, but for the fact that some 'marketing executive' latched on to the 'trans' theme to sell something.
Gag me with a spoon, PLEASE coach! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't mind it
Just another stupid gimmick, like rainbow oreos
I'll leave that one on the shelf. Of course, they may have an agenda. Trans may prefer The Hershey Highway to a normal vagina.
Companies (and people in general) try too hard to be politically correct. Whatever happened to just plain old common sense?
