Not really awkward, but I was the only girl growing up and dad was lax with what we watched. So there were several times the room would get rather quiet.

You should have said they were doing it all wrong and that you could show them some things. Just enough to get them to ground you until you're 30.

I never had problem with my mom or sister and a sex scene came up and there was awkwardness but when I watched American Pie one with my grandmothers it was awkward luckly she turned the movie off or changed the channel.
Lol! Why are moms so awkward some times? lol but I’m sure she had good intentions. I don’t think that she wanted to make it weird maybe just to make a joke about how sexy the scene was.
