How do you know if you have an enlarged clitoris?

I never thought anything into mine until recently. There's a chance I might have pcos, and I read that your clitoris might be enlarged because of it. Then I remembered my boyfriend and I joking, and he made a joke about my "big clit", because I said he had a big ****. I don't know if he was being serious or not, but he has had more experience than I have, so he has definetly seen a lot of women down there.

I have an innie when I stand, but when I sit and my legs are more open, or when I stand and more open (cleaning purposes etc), you can see it. And I don't know what is considered enlarged or not, especially how I always hear how guys "can't find the clit". Mine is super easy to spot. So how do you know if it is enlarged or not? How do you know what is and isn't normal?

  • Time to watch some porn. There's even a "big clit" genre. That will give you a reasonable idea if you're "normal".

I have no idea what pcos is. f you're concerned, talk to a doctor they will know what's normal and what isn't. The people here, including me, don't know anything.

    • Thank you very much. I feel like personally for me, knowing these things will help with the diagnosis of pcos, as it was only just sprung onto me. And pcos stands for polycystic ovarian syndrome. If I'm being completely honest, I don't know how to bring it up to a doctor. And if it is normal, I'll feel embarrassed. This isn't the first time I've been commented on about down there either. An ex said he loved how I was bigger down there, but after doing research, mine is mid-size, but at the time he told me, it made me self-conscious. He wasn't specifically talking about my clit, but still. I am comfortable with my now boyfriend, but him making that joke did make me question whether my one is normal or not. I am not upset with the joke he made but knowing whether mine is normal or not will help me understand if whether it is or isn't a symptom. I understand not a lot of people will know, but I'm hoping that one person might be a little educated, or someone who might have the same thing might know.

    • I know what you mean about talking to the doctor. It's difficult to bring up. I do know this, doctors see and hear a lot of strange things. You have a legitimate medical question. Make an appointment with a gynecologist for your "annual checkup". When you're there, before you're examined, ask what are the symptoms of pcos. That will start the conversation. The doctor will take it from there.

  • A big clit seems rather attractive to me, and I don't see what the problem may be concerning such a feature. On the contrary I daresay ;0) Maybe you should visit for instance a porn site like xHamster and search for "big clit". Some women seem just to have naturally a big clit, and anyway, clits come in all forms and sizes. Concerning PCOS, just ask the doctor to be sure.

  • It honestly sounds like your just iverthinking

    • Thank you. Perhaps I am. I hate asking these questions on here, but until I do my blood test to find out if I have pcos, then I will bring it up to my dr. But even then, I wouldn't know how to bring it up. I'm embarrassed about it and self-conscious. I'll probably ask my boyfriend too because he made the joke. And it didn't offend me, but if he is actually being serious, then at least I'll know?

    • But why is this something u need to know or worry over if u boyfriend hasn't made a issue over it surely that's enough

    • It might help with my diagnosis. They were asking about other symptoms besides of pain. By knowing this, it might help

  • Take a picture of it and let me see it. I'll be able to let you know immediately lol

  • If you can see it under normal circumstances and it sticks out, than it’s probably bigger than most. I wouldn’t think it’s a medical issue unless it’s causing you problems. I’d look at it as a gift, it will probably help you orgasm easier.

  • Look at it

    • Well that is why I'm asking. I mean clearly I've looked at it, but I don't know what is considered normal

    • Does it look the same as it did 4 days ago? A month ago?

    • Well I don't know. I have never really looked at myself down there before. But it somewhat looks bigger than before, but that could be due to age?

  • most of those guys who can not find the clit don't know where to look for it. It is under the hood but guys think it is in the vagina or something... lol Clits come in different sizes as dicks come in different sizes. Your may be from a medical issue but only you and your doctor would know that...

  • A lot of innies open up like that. And clit size is genetic, never heard of a bigger clit being a sign of pcos.

A bigger one would be one that opems up your lips when you stand.

But that's quite hot anyways, so ^.^

  • 1) not a issue for us guys. If anything makes our life better.
    2) your gyno should tell you.
    3) seriously, I’m sick of these vagina questions. Last week some bitch asked if guys care about darker vsginas. What? Of course not.

Now nut up, shove your BF’s head down there and don’t let him come up til you cum.

  • Is it larger than 1” when fully erect? There are soo many sizes of clits and big ones are definitely fun and an advantage. Definitely ok to be bigger. In my experience, fully visible is not abnormal. Longer than 1 inch is abnormal but please don’t buy into the hype and get it removed

  • Wish I can help. This all comes to gynec. Or uro. I guess. I like big clit. Haven't seen one in person. I am not sure if I can use word profound for it. Got chance to suck on one. Girl it was fun. She also had innie. I could see barely anything but I liked what I felt.

  • Would you pm me

  • Does it stick out? Or is it noticeable?
