How do you know that you are asexual?

I recently came to realised that I might be asexual. I started to understand why I felt sick for think about sex and people. I don't normally find anybody attractive at all. I had a girlfriend and I didn't make a move on her like kiss her or feel her up like the movies I watched. Of course she dumped me because I failed to live up to her expectations. I thought I might be gay at first but again I don't find them attractive either.

I'd suggest looking for resources online, even just searching up "what does it mean to be asexual" or "am I ace" and things like that.

I'm doing the same with my gender identity, going from "cis woman" to questioning.

Every journey like this is personal, but you're not alone. June is Pride Month, too, so if you live someone LGBTQ friendly, you're bound to find events that can introduce you to the community.

Many of Reddit's sexuality subs have their own Discord communities where you can find help and friends, too.

Every journey is different. I only learned I was bisexual when I was 27, and now at 31 I'm finally in a spot where I can consider thinking about my gender identity - it was always forced on me in childhood.

There are quite a few subcategories of asexuality but basically you don't find anyone sexually attractive.

Some asexuals are sex positive, some are sex repulsed. You can be asexual and get horny the same way you can be asexual and never have the need or want for sex.

You can have aesthetic attraction, romantic attraction - it's just lack of sexual attraction, you basically don't look at someone and want to have sex with them.

I guess you are if you do not find anyone that you find sexually attractive. So you might change over time.
