Following this incase someone actually gives you sound advice instead of telling you to just get out more or randomly stumble upon someone.

The truth is online dating is faster than speed dating, and speed dating is faster than just going out to meet people, and that trust is just as hard to earn in person as it is online, with the only difference being online your not next to them, so they can't hurt you if they are a bad person, so it gives you time to filter out the crazies from a safe position.

In person you know far less about them than a dating profile says, you still can't verify anything they are saying is true quickly, and they might try to convince you into doing things with them you might regret after you find out they are liars.

If you can't find a match online, you will never find one locally, because the odds are so much smaller when you shrink the pool of available people to choose from by 99.99%.

2. Go to a museum or a symphony. You will tend to meet woman at those who lack a "Vacant" sign in their eyes.
3. Go do something you enjoy that women might also enjoy.

I never would suggest to anyone to do online dating. Outside of the scams and whatnot, it isn't a great way to meet people since you aren't really meeting them. Sure, eventually you might meet in person, but it takes some trust to get there. Not something that is easy to build online with a stranger.

I was never into the club scene either. So, no familiar with that. I prefer to meet people by chance. That is how I met my fiancé. It was completely random. I wasn't concerned about dating or forcing a relationship. I just let it happen.

I understand that isn't the easiest approach but patience works. If you are wanting to meet people, I always have the same suggestion. Find a local activity club, group or activity that you enjoy.

You will meet others that have similar interests and share your enthusiasm for whatever group you join. Plus, easy to strike up conversation since you already share a common interest.

I did in college. I don't now. It doesn't feel like there's a lot of places to mingle. Everyone is either online or out in specific groups largely closed off to outsiders. Not sure how people do it, but it seems like so much more effort.

Your options are to date a less attractive woman (Which you probably don't want because we're so used to seeing the hottest women in porn, that we don't even want less than average women either) or try to compete with the fuck boy, muscle bound players on dating apps.
