How do you prefer to have sex, lights on or off?

Oooh, you gave me a tough choice. Voted for "Outdoors," but "Mood lighting" is right up there.

My girlfriend and I have had sex outdoors on several occasions and it is amazing. We tend to a very natural and raw kind of sex. Not in a BDSM sort of way, but in a very natural way. Less romantic and more like two animals breeding in a field, to put it crudely.

We just love that sense of being reduced to our most base selves and doing what nature made us to do. I mount her and she submits to me - and at least three times babies have been the happy result.

Doing that in nature just adds to that mood. That sense that we are part of nature and, as I say, we are doing what nature made us to do. Sort of turning off the intellect and doing what instinct drives us to.

Sounds kind of corny or cliche, but for us it is real and we connect and the most raw instinctual way. Doing that in nature only intensifies the feelings.

Yet the problem is obvious. You can get caught and an "indecent exposure" charge would ruin the mood. (Although, in fairness, we have been seen at least two or three times - which really added to the mood, ironically - and nothing bad has resulted. Apparently the people who saw us were willing to let us be ourselves.)

We have done it in our suburban backyard - which is sort of sheltered by trees and it makes it hard for the neighbors to see us. However, that is only at night. We did do it in daylight on the beach - and that was amazing.

Still, being outdoors has its' problems - also weather is obviously an issue - and so indoors with mood lighting works. Better than bright lights or no lights and, frankly, for obvious reasons, the way I have most experienced sex. No complaints, believe me!! Just not quite as raw.

Still, way better than the "Dark" or "Lights on" as if you were in a grocery store or something. Still, overall, sex is great and this is all a matter of degrees of preference - and never a case where I would refuse sex if the lighting was wrong.

Howd you guys get away with the beach in the day? Was it super empty? Was it a nude beach?

It was partly just that it was secluded. It was a small stretch of beach down the way from the main beach. There was a little spot of land that rose and separated the main beach from where we were. It was not a nude beach, by the way. In fact, it was in the Caribbean. Which was either very smart of us - we figured that they would not bother the tourists - or really dumb. (It was a foreign country, after all.) Anyhow, partly it was just that it was relatively secluded and partly it was just dumb luck. No doubt we took a chance, but we were in the mood, so to speak, and so the brain cells were not fully engaged. Still, gotta say, it was amazing.
