I’d be lying if I said I didn’t still occasionally think about my first love who was the first man I slept with. Even though I love my husband who I have been with for years, the first man I loved and slept with will always mean something to me (we didn’t end well either so this is a bit surprising I suppose).
Im wondering how a guys first time with someone they truly love affects them.
My first sexual experience was with a girlfriend when I was 16. We were both deeply infatuated. She was 2.5 years younger than me and said she loved me. She was my first and I was her second. She was also on the pill.
Tht first experience was a dream come true and I enjoyed the entire time we went steady, which was several months. We had lots of sex. She even gave me my first BJ.
At 16, I wasn't sure if I loved her and I didn't want to use that word lightly, so I didn't. I also had no intention of getting married anytime soon. But I liked her a lot.
She and I are still friends and are connected on Facebook. She was always a really good person. I had other girlfriends after her as time went on.
There is only one girlfriend that I still love and think about a lot.. I met Petra when I was 37 and she was 30. We both had our own places but lived together for over a year. I loved her with my heart and soul and she loved me.
Unfortunately, we were not destined to spend the rest of our lives together. We separated for reasons that are complicated but had nothing to do with cheating or anything mean. It took me a year to pull myself together after we separated.
I met my future wife two years after Petra and I separated.
20 years after we separated, she found me on Facebook and we even spoke on the phone several times. She was living out of state. Hearing her voice brought back joy and pain. But I was grateful to be in touch and to know that she was happy and pursuing her dreams.
Five years later, I read that she had died from a sudden medical problem. I was devastated. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal. I will always love her and will never forget her. I'm grateful for the good fortune and privilege of having that time with her.
My love for her does not diminish how much I love my wife.
IF the guy had feelings for the girl - which is definitely not always the case - then he's probably never going to forget her. That doesn't means he wishes he was with her or anything, but it's going to be hard for him to forget her entirely.

I mean, every experience you make in your life affects you somehow. In my case, I don't think my first time sex matters much any more these days. It was a necessary experience to go through, but it's not that I think back very often.
