Well, they are mad or aren't getting their way so they resort to that. What makes it a low is calling someone that (there are a few implications) and js really a social/identity attack.
That being said, incense can be a variety if things but it is a guy who supposedly can't get women due to looks or whatever the case may be. This person wants a relationship or companionship with the opposite sex and he's labeled a name because of lack of companionship or ability to.
I can't imagine making fun of someone because they are lonely, can't get a date, etc.
There are guys like that (usually avoided), made fun of and treated badly.
On the other hand, you have some guys who are getting a lot of attention.
Imagine going for the same group of guys who treat you bad for years (you know this mind you) only to now even see the other guys and treat then like a human. Nevermind give them a chance.
This is what bothers me the most. Not giving them the respect or treatment of a human. The doesn't just apply to relationships. This can apply to social status, money, looks, etc.
The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.
There are consequences for this long term.
Ironically enough, when school shootings were being reported a lot, people would say incels did it. Elliot Rodgers was an example. I don't know the guy and I'm not going into it. Murder is wrong but so is what many other people do today.
Basically many people know in some way that isolation can cause someone to go mad.
How many people can go without their phones or social media? There are more people who would act tbe same way or worse if in the same shoes. As a matter of fact, when many people don't get their way, they get upset, lash out, change their attitude, etc.
But somehow when it comes to dating, it's bad (there are bad extremes of course).
I'm all over the place but the point being that the name callers are worse. Seems like middle school/high school immaturity to me.
