How long should a girl wait to have sex with a guy that she likes?

In other words, she doesn't want to just be a booty call and she doesn't want the relationship to just be casual sex, but actually likes him and wants him to respect her.
From what I've heard, having sex on the first date is not really okay and guys lose a lot of interest and respect for the girl.
This makes a girl seem too "easy" and makes the guy wonder how many guys she slept with.

  • I really don’t believe in that. If I like a girl and want to date her it won’t matter if she has sex with me the first time. Maybe it’s different for other men. I don’t view her different either way. I honestly dislike when people do things to satisfy social norms. It kinda has turned off before when girls have said stuff like “I would have sex with you but we need to wait because social norm etc” if u want to wait because it’s something YOU want than I’ll all for it. Doing it because it’s something you think u should do because of society or whatever is a turn off.

    How early a girl gives sex is a test or trap, but it works both ways.

    If she puts out on 1st date, happy days, he gets to have sex and to have fun for a few months or year, he just might think she isn't the one (wife material).

    If she holds out, it tests whether the guy really likes her or not or is just looking to hook up. A guy who isn't interested in her long-term will not wait around long for sex.

  • I personally wouldn't respect a girl enough for a real relationship if she did before the 3rd date.

  • I say wait three dates... no later than 5th. Guys start to loose interest if they are putting in the work. You put too high of a value on yourself and becomes a turn off.

    Honestly I say don't put a number on it at all and just do what feels right to you, because if he is the one it honestly doesn't matter.
